THE ART OF STEVEN ZALUSKI
Sculptor Steven Zaluski, whose artwork has achieved national recognition throughout the United States, was born in 1952 in Amityville, Long Island, New York. He received his degree from SUNY Stonybrook, where besides developing his craft as a sculptor and painter, he also studied the fine art of video...later going on to create an original art piece with original music soundtrack, and featured ArtExpo 1987. Zaluski's early love for seascape and landscape painting can readily be seen in the artist's voluminous yet seemingly weightless and free flowing sculptures. Employing the sacred geometry of nature, he skillfully creates a rhythm of forms and balances them with movement...sometimes abstract, lyrical and brightly painted, and often times stylized, and figurative, luminously brushed and bronzed. From his small and decorative wall pieces to the utter magnitude of his glistening and kinetic outdoor Sculptures. Steven Zaluski's work is eminently contemporary, high spirited, and having achieved universal appeal, they verily command an unlimited audience. His work is exhibited throughout North America and Hong Kong. His Sculpture is featured in various Corporate collections from coast to coast, including numerous Commissioned Outdoor Public Works. |
